Arsenal & Chelsea want to sign Barcelona midfielder?

Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo amid the uncertainty over his future at the Catalan giants.

The Spaniard was signed by the Blaugrana from RB Leipzig for £52m last summer, but he was registered with La Liga only until December 31.

The Blaugrana have failed to register him for the back end of the campaign and this has led to speculation that he could be released on a free transfer.

Barcelona have not given up on registering him, but Mundo Deportivo claim that Arsenal and Chelsea could capitalise on the situation next month.

Olmo is one of the best playmakers in Spanish football and he would be a quality signing for the Gunners and Blues at the turn of the year.

Arsenal in particular need more creativity after the injury blow for Bukayo Saka and they could push to land his services ahead of the Blues.

Olmo remains determined to continue at Barcelona, but he could change his stance if the Blaugrana are unable to find a way to register him soon.
