No Spurs bid for Coupet yet

Lyon goalkeeper Gregory Coupet has reportedly been the subject of interest from Tottenham, but the French club have moved swiftly to reject the rumours that he will be leaving the club soon.

“Olympique Lyonnais deny having received any demand from English club Tottenham for a transfer for Gregory Coupet,” read a statement on the club’s official website.

“Besides, the club remind that in a general way, no discussions regarding eventual transfers will be hold before the Coupe de France final on Saturday at Stade de France on which the club is focused.”
