Napoli make opening bid to sign Alejandro Garnacho
Napoli have made an opening bid worth £38m including add-ons to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
The Serie A giants are in the process of parting ways with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this winter. Paris Saint-Germain are expected to seal his transfer in the coming days.
Napoli manager Antonio Conte has asked for Garnacho as his replacement and Pedulla claims that an opening bid worth £38m has been placed.
However, United have no plans of accepting the proposal on the table and they are expected to hold out for at least £60m to sanction his exit.
Garnacho started in the FA Cup third round against Arsenal yesterday. He provided the assist for Bruno Fernandes' stellar strike to open the scoring.
Aside from this, he was non-existent as an attacking midfielder and we won't be surprised if he is sold during the winter transfer window.
United could look to bring in a replacement if that happens.
