Ruben Amorim breaks silence on future of Man Utd winger
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has broken silence on the speculation linking Antony with a move away from Old Trafford this winter.
The Brazil international has been a fringe player for the Red Devils and it has been claimed that he could be loaned out during the transfer window.
Antony has opened the door to joining Real Betis in recent days and when pressed on his future, Amorim said that he has no idea over the situation.
He said: "Like I said, I want to keep my players. I'm focused on this, these players. I don't know what is going to happen. This window, we'll see, but he did a good job today."
The former Ajax attacker came on as a half-time substitute against Southampton yesterday. He was guilty of squandering a clear-cut chance to find the back of the net.
Alejandro Garnacho put the ball on the plate for Antony to score, but the Brazilian surprisingly missed an open goal. His right-footed shot went into the goalkeeper's hands.
