Arsenal handed big boost with defender back in training
Arsenal have been handed a huge boost with defender Ben White back in team training after an extended break due to knee surgery.
The Englishman has been out of action since mid-November after his operation, but he is anticipated to return in the near future.
White has started working with the group and he could return to the playing field in a couple of weeks, provided there are no setbacks.
His return would be a huge boost for the Gunners, considering there has been an overreliance on Jurrien Timber on the right side of the defence.
Thomas Partey has been asked to play as a makeshift right-back at times. The Ghanaian has looked vulnerable from the defensive position.
Aside from White, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Riccardo Calafiori were also training yesterday and could return to action in the near future.
Tomiyasu has made just one appearance this campaign due to his knee concerns, but the Japanese will be involved in the season run-in.
