Mikel Arteta reacts after Arsenal draw vs Aston Villa
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has sent his reaction following the 2-2 draw against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Gunners had a solid opening half and they opened the scoring through Gabriel Martinelli. Kai Havertz put them two goals ahead after the break.
However, they lost momentum thereafter with two goals conceded in a short space of time. Arsenal could not find the winner in the end.
Speaking after the game, Arteta said that his players are playing at such a high level, but the goals conceded were unacceptable.
He said: "In attack, in defending, I think the level we are playing is so, so, so high, but there’s something missing.
"That line is so thin & we have to find it. Today, the way we concede the goals, it cannot be part of our game."
With the stalemate, Arsenal remain six points behind leaders Liverpool in the top-flight, but the Merseyside outfit have a game in hand.
