Chelsea expected to make formal Garnacho bid
Chelsea are expected to make a formal bid for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Argentina international has been in-and-out of the starting line-up since Ruben Amorim took charge as United's head coach.
He is prepared to consider a new challenge and reports claim that Chelsea are now leading the race to sign the 20-year-old.
The Blues have already made direct contact with the Red Devils, and they are expected to make an official bid in the near future.
United want around £59 million for the talented attacker, but the Blues are hoping to sign him for £50 million including add-ons.
Garnacho was linked with Napoli earlier in the month, but he reportedly has the preference to continue in the Premier League.
Personal terms won't be an issue if a transfer agreement is reached.
United are bound to pursue a replacement if Garnacho leaves. They are most likely to opt for a cost-effective signing.
