Man Utd agree deal to sign Danish star for £29m
Manchester United have reached an agreement to sign Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils have been searching for a new left wing-back for the past few weeks and they have got their answer.
The club opened talks with Lecce last week, and they have now agreed to sign Dorgu for £25m with £4m in add-ons.
The 20-year-old has already agreed personal terms with United and a transfer could be completed in the near future.
Dorgu could travel to Old Trafford in the next 24 hours for a medical.
He could make his debut against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday if he registered by Friday noon.
Dorgu's arrival is a huge boost for the Red Devils, considering they have struggled from the left wing-back role.
Diogo Dalot has lacked consistency with his positioning and he has struggled to provide an attacking outlet.
Dorgu has already played in the position at Lecce. He could comfortably slot into the role under manager Ruben Amorim.
