Arsenal eyeing surprise move for Brighton striker?
Arsenal could enter the race to sign Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson before the transfer window closes next week, according to talkSPORT.
The London giants have had a frustrating Premier League campaign due to injuries and they are presently without Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a serious knee injury, and this is expected to force some reaction from the Gunners.
A new striker could be signed over the next few days, and TalkSPORT claim that Ferguson could be a surprise target for the north London giants.
A loan deal is out of the cards with the club having no plans of sending Neto or Raheem Sterling back to their parent teams in the current window.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners make a permanent bid for Ferguson. The youngster has endured a tough 18 months at Brighton.
He was once considered as one of the brightest young strikers in the Premier League, but competition and injuries have hampered his development.
