Man Utd agree deal to sign £50m Portuguese star
Manchester United are poised to sign Sporting Lisbon wonderkid Geovany Quenda at the end of the season, according to A Bola.
The 17-year-old made his first-team debut under manager Ruben Amorim earlier this term. He has been brilliant from the right wing-back role.
Amorim has now decided to reunite with the wonderkid, and reports claim that a verbal agreement is in place with Sporting for his services.
United can't sign him until his 18th birthday and therefore have to wait until next summer for his services. They have, however, agreed a fee.
The Red Devils will pay £50m over multiple campaigns. Quenda has already agreed terms over a long-term deal with the Mancunian giants.
Amad Diallo has been the regular from the right wing-back role lately, but he could play in the number 10 position once Quenda joins United.
Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot could compete for places with Quenda. Mazraoui can also play on the right side of the back three.
