Mathys Tel makes Tottenham transfer decision
Bayern Munich wonderkid Mathys Tel has turned down the chance to join Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer deadline next week.
Spurs are determined to land a new centre-forward this winter with Dominic Solanke sidelined for the next five weeks with a knee injury.
They recently agreed to sign Tel for around €60m, but the Frenchman has decided against joining them before the transfer window closes.
Tel could still move to the Premier League with interest from Chelsea, Arsenal, Aston Villa as well as Manchester United, as per reports.
Chelsea and Aston Villa are exploring permanent deals for the forward while Arsenal and United could look to sign him on a temporary basis.
Tel prefers to join the Gunners or Red Devils before the deadline, but he will want the guarantee of regular playing time to sign for either.
The former Rennes graduate is expected to decide on his future in the next 24 hours. Talks are ongoing with his camp before his final verdict.
