Arsenal enter race to sign 25-year-old striker for free

Arsenal have joined West Ham United in the race to sign Jonathan David on a free transfer this summer, as per Caught Offside.
The Canadian ace has been in superb form in the current campaign. He has netted 23 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions.
The 25-year-old has made the decision to leave Lille at the end of his contract this summer. He could end up playing in the Premier League.
The Hammers are already in close contact with his representatives but reports claim that Arsenal are ready to battle it out with their London rivals.
The Gunners are expected to enter the transfer market for a striker and could make a contract offer to David, who has a good track record.
David could be seen as a potential back-up option rather than a starter. The north London giants want to sign either Alexander Isak or Benjamin Sesko as their first-choice marksman ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
