Arsenal planning talks with Wolves star Matheus Cunha
Arsenal are reportedly planning talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha amid interest from Manchester United.
The Brazil international has had a fantastic campaign with the Midlands outfit. He has scored 17 goals and provided six assists from 33 games.
He is prepared to pursue a bigger challenge in the summer and reports have claimed that United are negotiating terms with the attacker.
However, nothing has been finalised as things stand. Ben Jacobs claims that Newcastle United and Arsenal have now entered the pursuit.
The Gunners are contemplating whether to make an approach for the forward. Talks are scheduled to be held between sporting director Andrea Berta and Cunha's representatives in the near future.
Cunha was heavily linked with the Gunners at the start of the year but the club did not proceed with a formal offer for his services.
Wolves are set to hold out for his £62.5 million release clause, but they are open to negotiating a long-term payment plan if required.
