Arsenal agree personal terms with Viktor Gyokeres, first offer made

Arsenal have made an opening bid to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres after agreeing personal terms, as per Correio da Manha.
The Gunners have identified Gyokeres as their priority striker target and they have already finalised terms over a long-term deal with him.
It is now reported that an official bid worth €75m has been made for his services, but Sporting CP are aiming to hold out for a higher fee.
The Gunners are said to be fearful about London rivals Chelsea, who could be willing to pay closer to the player's €100m release clause.
The Swede has been in stellar form for Sporting CP. He has bagged 52 goals and 12 assists from just 49 appearances this campaign.
Gyokeres is ready for the next step in his career and has his sights on moving to the Premier League. Arsenal are favourites to sign him.
The Gunners must be proactive to secure an early deal. Otherwise, they face the potential risk of a hijack from the Blues during the summer.
