Arsenal star set to sign new contract until 2029

Arsenal star Leandro Trossard is set to sign a new long-term contract until June 2029, according to Football Insider.

The Belgium international joined the Gunners from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023. He has been a brilliant signing for them.

Trossard has accumulated almost 50 goal contributions and reports claim that he is now expected to commit his future to the Gunners.

The attacker's current deal expires in June 2026 and there has been speculation that he could move to the Saudi Pro League.

However, there has been a surprise twist over the last 24 hours and Trossard is now poised to extend his stay for another three years.

His new contract will be valid until June 2029. It remains to be seen whether this has any impact on the club's summer business.

There has been speculation that Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli may need to be sold for the purchase of a marquee left-sided winger.
