Fulham eye Finnan return

Fulham are reportedly considering a move for former fan favorite Steve Finnan after news reports revealed that the Irish defender could be set for the exit door at Liverpool this summer.

Finnan played at Fulham up until 2003, when he joined Liverpool for around £5 million. Now the Reds are willing to let Finnan go and Fulham have emerged as candidates to land the talented full back.

Valued by his club at arond £2.5 million, Fulham are unlikely to baulk at such a fee as they look to add experience to their squad in preparation of the 2008/2009 season.
