Man Utd join race to sign Brighton striker

Manchester United have joined Chelsea in the race to sign Brighton & Hove Albion striker Joao Pedro, according to Sky Sports.
The Red Devils are aiming to bolster their attack for next season and a new centre-forward is one of the top priorities for manager Ruben Amorim.
Sky Sports claim that Pedro is one of the top names on United's radar and he could be signed for around £50 million from the Seagulls.
Pedro joined Brighton from Watford two years ago. He has been in good form this campaign with 16 goal contributions in the league.
His statistics are not exceptional but Man United seem to believe in his potential. They are not alone with Chelsea also in the pursuit.
Premier League newcomers Leeds United have also been credited with an interest in Pedro, who prefers a new challenge away from Brighton.
Pedro was recently suspended by Brighton for disciplinary reasons and he won't be available for the final game of the league campaign.
