Man Utd confirm signing of 26yo Brazilian star
Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Matheus Cunha on a long-term deal.
The Red Devils are expected to be busy this summer and they are already working on pursuing deals for multiple targets.
The club have now announced the arrival of Cunha from Wolves in a deal until June 2030 with an option for another year.
The 26-year-old will undergo his photoshoot and remaining formalities when the Red Devils return for pre-season training next month.
The arrival of Cunha at Old Trafford could pave the way for the departure of Alejandro Garnacho, who has fallen out with manager Ruben Amorim.
Garnacho has been linked with Napoli and Chelsea and he has opened the door for a transfer to either club through his representative.
Aside from the Argentine, the likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho are also expected to head for the exit door as well.
United could also part ways with captain Bruno Fernandes, who is seriously considering a move to Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal.
