Liverpool open to selling striker for €55m amid Saudi interest
Liverpool are open to parting ways with Darwin Nunez for €55 million amid interest from Al Hilal, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.
The Uruguayan star was on the radar of Al Hilal during the winter transfer window, but the Merseyside giants were reluctant to listen to offers.
Nunez was far from pleased by the transfer decision, but he could be permitted to leave the Reds for a lucrative move this time around.
Al Hilal are exploring a deal for the former Benfica man, having failed to convince Napoli star Victor Osimhen to join them in recent days.
Liverpool are unlikely to block Nunez's exit this summer. They are looking for at least €55m to sanction his sale to Al Hilal or any other club.
Al Hilal could look to push through a deal in the next 24 hours, considering the transfer window closes on Tuesday night for the Club World Cup.
They face a race against time to finalise a transfer for the striker.
