Man Utd & Spurs make enquiries for Roma star

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have made enquiries to sign Roma centre-back Evan Ndicka, according to RMC Sport.

The Ivorian star was one of the stand-out performers for the Giallorossi last term. He was ever-present in Serie A as they missed out on Champions League football by a solitary point.

He is now attracting high-profile interest. RMC Sport report that United and Spurs have already made approaches for the player, but they have yet to make a formal proposal on the table.

Roma have opened the door for the departure of the French-born star. They are expected to demand around £34 million to part ways with the 25-year-old.

Spurs have an edge over the Red Devils with Champions League football, but they presently have Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven as undisputed starters.

On the other hand, United could assure him regular playing time, considering manager Ruben Amorim likes to rotate his centre-back options in the back three.
