Arsenal return to London without deal for Gyokeres

Viktor Gyokeres news

Arsenal yet to find Gyokeres agreement

Arsenal have reportedly returned to London without securing a transfer agreement for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.

The Sweden international has recently emerged as the top striker target for the Gunners and he has given the green light for the transfer.

Arsenal sent officials to negotiate with Sporting over the weekend, but as things stand, they have yet to find a suitable agreement, as per Record.

The Gunners have proposed to pay €65m as a fixed fee with €15m in add-ons. €10m of those bonuses are probably performance based.

However, Sporting are holding out for a fixed sum of €70m and also prefer the €10m add-on package to be easily affordable too.

With the difference in valuations, Arsenal have returned to London after no progress. They are likely to make a renewed offer soon.

Gyokeres has no plans of returning to Sporting for pre-season training and he is determined to join the Gunners in the coming days.
