Bournemouth approach to sign £25m Chelsea star
Bournemouth have approached to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic amid interest from Sunderland, according to The Telegraph.
The Cherries are looking for a new shot-stopper after parting ways with Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was on loan from the Blues last season.
The club tried to secure Arrizabalaga's services on a permanent basis, but the Spain international opted to join Arsenal as a backup to David Raya.
Bournemouth have now made an offer for Petrovic. The Black Cats are also in the mix, but the Cherries believe they have an advantage.
Chelsea are aware of the increasing interest in the Serbian star and they are expected to demand at least £25 million to part ways with him.
The Blues have already had a huge spending spree and they are expected to continue with multiple additions over the next few weeks.
This is expected to coincide with player departures. Petrovic could be one of many players heading for the exit door this summer.
