Man Utd make contact to sign Carlos Baleba
Manchester United have made contact with Brighton & Hove Albion over a possible deal for midfielder Carlos Baleba.
The Red Devils have focused on strengthening their attack this summer and have already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
They are also in advanced talks to land Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig and a deal could be formally agreed in the next 24 hours.
Amidst this, David Ornstein claims that United are also keen on landing a mobile midfielder and have their sights on Baleba from the Seagulls.
A deal is difficult at the moment with Brighton reluctant to part ways with the Cameroonian. They could hold out for a staggering fee too.
United are in no position to afford him after the likely purchase of Benjamin Sesko and may require significant sales to sign him.
Hence, a move seems unlikely on the cards but things could change if United can start recouping funds from some outgoings soon.
