Chelsea step up talks to sign Alejandro Garnacho
Chelsea have stepped up talks to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho this summer, according to David Ornstein.
The Argentine made 21 goal contributions for the Red Devils last campaign, but he has been deemed surplus to requirements by the club.
Garnacho had a public fallout with manager Ruben Amorim last season, and he is also keen on pursuing a new challenge elsewhere.
Ornstein has now revealed that the Blues have stepped up talks to land Garnacho and talks have been ongoing for some period of time.
With United on the cusp of landing Benjamin Sesko, they are more than open to selling Garnacho as they need to recoup some funds.
The 21-year-old is only keen on joining Chelsea this summer and it is only a matter of time before the clubs negotiate a suitable deal.
The Red Devils valued the attack at more than 60 million pounds in January, but are now willing to sanction his sale for 50 million pounds.
