Tottenham improve offers for Paz and Savinho

Tottenham have upped their most recent offers for Man City forward Savinho and Como midfielder Nico Paz, as Daniel Levy seeks to push through at least one deal before the transfer deadline. Spurs missed out on a deal for Eberechi Eze, and need attacking reinforcements for the injured James Maddison.
A long-term injury to Maddison means there is a lack of attacking midfield support at Spurs, and in Nico Paz the club believe they have found a like-for-like replacement. It is understood that Tottenham have increased their offer to 50 million euros for the Como player, and the Argentine is ready to move to England. The situation for Savinho is a little more complicated, as the Brazilian would prefer to stay at Man City, but Pep Guardiola has informed the 21-year-old that he is free to leave the Etihad Stadium. It is understood that Spurs have now bid £60 million for the former Girona player, and believe a deal can also be agreed before September 1st.
Tottenham fans are understandably disappointed after missing out on new Arsenal player Eberechi Eze, who had already agreed a contract with Spurs but had a change of heart at the last minute.
Spurs will now seek to complete deals for Savinho and Paz.
