Chelsea & Man City interested in Crystal Palace star

Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in landing Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz, according to Colombian outlet Semana.

Munoz has evolved into one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and he could be on the move at the end of the ongoing campaign.

It is reported that his performances have not gone unnoticed and the likes of Chelsea and Man City have been monitoring him up close.

Palace are not contemplating his sale at the moment, but the south London outfit are unlikely to block a summer exit for the right price.

The Blues already have Reece James and Malo Gusto as top-class right-back options, and don't really require another solution in the squad.

However, City could be genuine contenders for Munoz. Rico Lewis and Matheus Nunes have been unconvincing with their performances.

The latter has been a makeshift solution, given he is a midfielder by trade. They could seek to recruit Munoz from the Eagles for next season.
