Arsenal midfielder arrives in Germany for medical
Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga has arrived in Germany for his medical with Hamburg SV, according to Standard Sport.
The Belgian has been out of favour with the Gunners for the past few years and has now been permitted to secure a new challenge.
With a year left on his contract, the club have accepted modest fee from Hamburg to part ways with the 25-year-old midfielder.
Lokonga has now arrived for his medical with the Bundesliga outfit, and a transfer could be made official on transfer deadline day.
Alongside him, the likes of Fabio Vieira, Reiss Nelson and Oleksandr Zinchenko are expected to be sold before the deadline.
Vieira and Nelson are attracting interest from Stuttgart and Crystal Palace while Zinchenko has been linked with Marseille of late.
Out of the three, Zinchenko looks the likely candidate to stay beyond Monday, though he could still head for the exit door.
There are a number of Turkish clubs keeping tabs on him. The Turkish transfer window does not close until September 12.
