Chelsea make firm decision on Marc Guehi

Chelsea could compete with Liverpool to land Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.
The England international underwent a medical with the Reds earlier this month, but a move was blocked by Palace at the final hurdle.
The south London outfit could not find a suitable replacement on deadline day and manager Oliver Glasner asked the hierarchy to recall Guehi.
Guehi has returned to the Eagles without any complaints, but he is expected to move on when his contract expires in the summer of 2026.
Liverpool have been touted as favourites to secure a Bosman deal, given they had agreed personal terms with the centre-back recently.
However, reports claim that the Blues have not given up in the race and could make a contract proposal to re-sign their graduate.
Guehi graduated through the Chelsea youth system before establishing himself as a regular starter for the Eagles over the years.
