Liverpool handed double injury boost for Man Utd clash
Liverpool have been handed a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester City on Sunday.
The Merseyside giants are currently on a three-match losing streak in all competitions, and they are now second in the league table behind Arsenal.
There is still only a one-point gap and have the opportunity to keep up with the pace when they host arch-rivals United at Anfield this weekend.
Ahead of the game, manager Arne Slot has confirmed good news in his presser. The Dutchman revealed that Ibrahima Konate is fully fit after overcoming a quad concern prior to the international break.
Alongside Konate, Ryan Gravenberch has also returned to full training after a minor injury scare on international duty. Both are widely expected to start against the Red Devils in Sunday's much-awaited clash.
Despite the Reds' poor form, they are still clear favourites to beat a United side, who have yet to find their groove under manager Ruben Amorim.
