Gary Neville reacts after Man Utd's victory at Anfield

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has expressed his delight after the Red Devils' Premier League win over Liverpool on the road.

The Red Devils picked up back-to-back league wins for the first time under manager Ruben Amorim. In the process, they secured their first victory over the Reds at Anfield in more than nine years.

Speaking after the 2-1 triumph, Neville said that the pressure was building on Amorim and a win at Anfield is huge for the Mancunian giants.

He told Sky Sports: "What a moment for Ruben Amorim.

"He needed something, the pressure was building but a win at Anfield is huge. It's a great place for Manchester United to win a game of football."

United had an average start to the campaign, and there were question marks over Amorim's future before the game against Sunderland at home.

The Red Devils have since responded with back-to-back wins. The victory over Liverpool has sent a big message to the rest of the league.

United are no longer pushovers and they look like genuine candidates to compete for the Champions League places this campaign.

The club are two points adrift of the top four at the moment.
