Man Utd to swap Joshua Zirkzee for Santiago Gimenez?

Manchester United have been offered the opportunity to swap Joshua Zirkzee for AC Milan striker Santiago Gimenez this winter, according to Roma Live.

Zirkzee has grown frustrated with the lack of playing time this campaign and he is determined to pursue a new challenge in January in order to boost his World Cup selection hopes with the Netherlands.

Roma are one of his admirers, but it has been claimed that the Rossoneri could propose to exchange Zirkzee for Gimenez at the turn of the year.

Gimenez signed for the Milan giants from Feyenoord last winter and he has since registered seven goals and provided five assists from 30 outings.

It remains to be seen whether United consider Milan's proposal.

United may ideally prefer a loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy. Roma have shown willingness to negotiate such a move.

West Ham United and Everton are also keeping tabs Zirkzee, who has yet to start in any competition for United this term.
