Arsenal set to sign Blackburn Rovers striker

Arsenal are poised to land the signature of Blackburn Rovers striker Igor Tyjon, according to HandofArsenal.
The Gunners tried to sign the 17-year-old from the Championship outfit last summer. They were willing to pay a maximum fee of £2.2 million, but could not persuade Rovers into a deal.
Mikel Arteta's side could now sign him on the cheap, considering his scholarship contract expires next summer. The young striker has informed his decision to move on from his club.
Arsenal are optimistic of landing him for around £1.1 million in January. If a deal materialises, he could be integrated into the development squad to compete with Andre Harriman-Annous.
Tyjon is primarily a centre-forward, but has also operated as an attacking midfielder too. He is considered as one of the brightest talents at Rovers and has the potential to become a first-team player.
The teenager has also received proposals from top Championship clubs chasing promotion, but he prefers to join the Gunners instead.
