Man Utd set for huge midfield boost vs Burnley?

Fernandes set to be fit for Burnley

Manchester United are set for a major injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Burnley on the road on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils are winless in the last two matches and recently parted ways with manager Ruben Amorim due to the lack of consistent results.

They will be aiming to return to winning ways in midweek. Ahead of the game, they are poised for a major boost of the injury front.

It is reported that midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been pushing to return to action, having recovered from a recent hamstring problem.

Darren Fletcher is presently the interim manager, and he is expected to provide a big update on the club captain in Tuesday's presser.

Alongside Fernandes, Mason Mount could make his comeback soon.

Mount picked up a minor muscle injury and he is anticipated to at least make the bench for the upcoming game at Turf Moor.

However, the game may come too soon for Kobbie Mainoo.
