Predicted Man Utd line-up vs Burnley tonight

Manchester United will be aiming to return to winning ways when they face Burnley at Turf Moor tonight.

Ahead of the game, interim manager Darren Fletcher could make one change from the 1-1 draw at Leeds United.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

Senne Lammens has played every minute in the Premier League since his debut against Sunderland in October. He will be eyeing his third clean sheet of the season tonight.

In defence, Fletcher is expected to revert to a four-man backline which he has preferred for the Under-18s squad. In that case, Leny Yoro seems the likely candidate to make way from the XI.

Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw should line up in the right and left-back positions, while Ayden Heaven is a strong candidate to partner Lisandro Martinez in the central defensive department.

Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro should line up as the midfield pairing, given Kobbie Mainoo is not 100 percent fit, while Bruno Fernandes could play higher up the field in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Fernandes has returned from a hamstring issue and should get the nod in the number 10 role. We anticipate Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha to slot out wide with Benjamin Sesko upfront.

Mason Mount has likewise returned from injury, but the Englishman could be handled with extra caution due to his injury record. He may come on as a replacement for Fernandes during the second half.

Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Burnley: Lammens; Dalot, Heaven, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Ugarte; Dorgu, Fernandes, Cunha; Sesko.
