Chelsea star suspended for FA Cup third round tie

Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella will serve a one-game suspension in the FA Cup third round tie against Charlton Athletic on the road.
The Blues suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Fulham in the Premier League last night. They were handed an early disadvantage after Cucurella's sending-off in the 22nd minute.
Cucurella was sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity. It is now revealed that the Spaniard will be banned for just one game and not three as it was not a red card for violent conduct.
The Spaniard will therefore serve his suspension in the upcoming FA Cup encounter against Charlton and will be available for the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal.
The Blues host the Gunners at Stamford Bridge in the first leg of the semi-final. While Cucurella will be back for the game, they will have to cope without Caicedo due to suspension again.
Caicedo recently picked up his second yellow card in the League Cup and will serve a one-game ban in the competition as a result.
