Ashley Cole makes Arsenal title claim ahead of Everton clash

Former Arsenal star Ashley Cole has made his Premier League title prediction on the Gunners ahead of Saturday's game against Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have had a brilliant league campaign thus far and they are currently seven points clear of second-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

Arsenal play first against the Toffees on Saturday evening and they have the opportunity to extend their lead further before Man City take on West Ham United on the road.

Ahead of the encounter, Cole has said that the Gunners look like mentality monsters and should end their long-waited drought for the English top-flight title this term.

He told Sky Sports: "They look like mentality monsters. They’re not giving anything up, after 20 years they should win it. Arsenal have put themselves in a strong position at this stage of the season."

The Gunners host Everton on Saturday evening before entertaining Bayer Leverkusen in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday night.
