Liverpool identify prime target to replace Mohamed Salah

Liverpool have earmarked Bayern Munich star Michael Olise as their prime target to replace Mohamed Salah at the end of the campaign.
Salah has officially confirmed that he will be leaving the Merseyside giants. He will walk away on a free transfer during the summer.
The Reds are expected to pursue a marquee replacement for the Egyptian and reports claim that Olise is the number one priority for the club.
However, a deal could be difficult to pursue. Bayern are likely to hold out for a staggering €150 million and may not accept anything less for him.
On top of this, Olise may want join the Reds without the assurance of Champions League football for the 2026/27 campaign.
As things stand, the Reds are fifth in the table, but they are just one and three points ahead of Chelsea and Brentford after 31 games.
They have a hectic schedule in the season run-in and there is a possibility that they could miss out on Champions League qualification.
