Aston Villa eye Duscher

Aston Villa are apparently already preparing for the departure of Gareth Barry to Liverpool, and are set to make a move for Aldo Duscher, who currently plays in La Liga.

Duscher plays for Racing Santander, who this season successfully qualified for the UEFA Cup for the first team in their history.

Duscher, an aggressive defensive midfielder, was part of the reason for Santander's successful season.

Duscher formerly played for Deportivo, and now Villa are ready to bid £7 million to land the Argentinian international midfielder.

Duscher requires no work permit as he already holds an Austrian passport.
