West Ham want Emre

West Ham are set to scupper Fenerbahce's hopes of landing Turkish international midfielder Emre Belozoglu this summer.

The Hammers are preparing a £7.6 million offer for the player who is apparently unhappy at Newcastle and keen to leave and join a side where he will have more first team action.

Fenerbahce were believed to have already agreed terms with Newcastle for Emre's transfer, but West Ham are now prepared to battle the Turkish giants for Emre's coveted signature.
