William Gallas wants Chelsea to appoint La Liga manager

Former Chelsea star William Gallas has urged the Blues to appoint Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone as their new head coach this summer.
The west London giants recently parted ways with Liam Rosenior following a run of five Premier League defeats without finding the back of the net.
The Blues have placed Calum McFarlane on temporary charge for the rest of the season, but the process of finding a suitable successor has begun.
Como's Cesc Fabregas is among the frontrunners for the vacancy, but Gallas feels the club should go for an experienced manager like Simeone.
He said: "If you are thinking about the short-term, to have success straight away, they need that experienced head to guide them like Diego Simeone and with his personality, he can win things very soon with Chelsea."
Simeone has been with Atletico since 2011 and the Spanish side have not contemplated parting ways with him. However, the Blues should test their commitment with an approach in the next few weeks.
The Argentine is presently focused on the Champions League semi-final ties against Arsenal. If Atletico were to suffer an exit, the door could open for the Blues to make an offer to the 55-year-old tactician.
