Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen

Chelsea have a clear stance on Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Blues were keen on landing the Nigerian star in 2024 but a deal did not materialise due to disagreement over personal terms.

He ended up signing for Gala on loan from Napoli, and has since joined the Turkish giants on a permanent basis from the Serie A side.

Osimhen continues to be monitored by European scouts and it recently emerged that the Blues could return for his services again.

However, it is now revealed that the west London giants have no desire to do so whatsoever after the striker's disagreement in 2024.

The Blues may not even pursue another striker. They are pleased with Joao Pedro, while having Liam Delap to provide immediate back-up.

The focus could instead be on landing a marquee midfielder and a left winger. Alejandro Garnacho could be sold by the Blues.

Garnacho has been linked with a possible switch to Italy.
