Michael Carrick praises Man Utd star after Sunderland draw

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick heaped praise on goalkeeper Senne Lammens after the goalless Premier League draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The Red Devils went into the game on a three-match winning run and were much fancied to make it four. However, the Black Cats were brilliant in front of their fans and deserved more than a point.
Sunderland had the upper hand for most of the contest, but they were denied by a couple of fabulous saves from Lammens. Speaking after the game, Carrick was full of praise for the Belgian star.
Carrick said: "He's been so solid and calm. He's been a big part of the results we've had [this season]."
United are six points ahead of fourth-placed Liverpool in the league standings, and they are almost guaranteed a third-place finish.
Still, the onus should be on ending the campaign on a high note. They are on 65 points and can hit the 70-point mark by winning their last two games.
