Gudjohnsen to Newcastle

Eidur Gudjohnsen is reportedly on the verge of moving back to the Premiership from Spanish giants Barcelona, and West Ham and Newcastle are the big two linked with the Icelandic international.
Gudjohnsen had a bit part role at Barcelona last year, but Josep Guardiola has reportedly told the player he has no future at the Nou Camp next year.
Newcastle had an impressive finish to the season as their three pronged attack of Michael Owen, Obafemi Martins and Mark Viduka impressed.
However, Kevin Keegan is believed to be on the look out for one more striker and Eidur has emerged as a potential candidate at the price of only £4.5 million.
