Man Utd winger has rejected Arsenal & Tottenham

Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has turned down approaches from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, according to Sport.

The England international spent the previous season on loan with Barcelona. He scored 14 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions.

The Spanish champions have the option to purchase him for around £20 million, but they are only willing to pay half of that amount.

There have been claims that Arsenal and Spurs could capitalise on the situation, but Rashford is determined to rejoin Barcelona permanently.

Rashford is aware of recent enquiries from the north London duo, but he only has his sights on rejoining the Blaugrana this summer.

Hence, United may have to come to a compromise with Barcelona. They could eventually accept a cut-price sale in the coming weeks.

The Red Devils' hierarchy want to remove Rashford's £325,000 per week salary from the wage bill and could give in to the player's request.

Barcelona are prepared to play the waiting game at the moment. They will return for Rashford once they have purchased a marquee striker.
