PSG chase Makelele

Ambitious French side are believed to be interested in offering Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele the opportunity to return to his homeland.

Makelele, 35, is somewhat a bit-part player at the Blues and is expected to be played a lot less next season when a new coach is brought in.

The French international is also believed to be attracting the attentions of several other clubs, including Villarreal and Sampdoria.
