Man Utd showing interest in signing Belgian striker

Manchester United are showing interest in signing Lille striker Matias Fernandez-Pardo this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The Red Devils are planning to strengthen multiple positions this summer. A new forward could be signed if Joshua Zirkzee heads for the exit door.

It has now been revealed that United have some interest in Fernandez-Pardo, and the player would be open to moving to the Premier League.

The Belgian, who can play on the left wing or upfront, managed 15 goal contributions for Lille last term. He has made the World Cup squad.

Lille are aware of the 21-year-old's potential, and reports claim that it could take at least £60 million to prise him away from the French outfit.

United are unlikely to make such a huge outlay on the Belgian, but a deal could be done if the Ligue 1 side accept around £40m for him.

Meanwhile, Zirkzee is considering his future away from the Red Devils. There is reportedly interest from multiple Serie A clubs.
