Villa chase Steve Finnan

Liverpool defender Steve Finnan is reportedly a target for Aston Villa and Martin O'Neill. The Irish international has apparently been told he will be allowed to leave the club this summer.

Finnan is also being monitored by his old club Fulham, but it is understood that O'Neill wants to sign Finnan after again being told by Arsenal they cannot sign Justin Hoyte permanently.

Finnan has another two years left on his current deal, and will be allowed to leave Liverpool for around £2 million.
