Aston Villa enter talks to sign Chelsea winger

Aston Villa have entered formal negotiations with Chelsea over a potential deal for Alejandro Garnacho, according to David Ornstein.

The Blues recently secured the signature of Morgan Rogers from the Villans for 117 million pounds. He has already penned a long-term deal.

Villa are now eyeing a replacement for the Englishman and have sought to land Garnacho on loan with an obligation to buy next summer.

Manager Unai Emery is reportedly leading the club's pursuit of the Argentine and has been an admirer of him prior to his time at Chelsea.

With Champions League football at Villa's disposal, Garnacho is said to be weighing up the move. AS Roma are no longer keen on his services.

Villa could do further business with the Blues, considering they are also keen on landing striker Nicolas Jackson from the London giants.

Emery previously managed Jackson during their time at Villarreal and has his sights on a reunion with the Senegal international this summer.
