Como preparing move for Man Utd striker

Como are preparing an approach to land Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Red Devils currently have Benjamin Sesko and Zirkzee as their specialist senior strikers, but the latter is expected to move on soon.

Zirkzee is already the subject of interest from Serie A giants Juventus and it is now claimed that Como have entered the race for his services.

United currently value the Dutchman at around £34 million, but they are open to accepting a loan deal with a conditional buy obligation clause.

Both clubs have yet to move for the former Bologna man, but it is claimed that Juventus are close to agreeing terms with the 25-year-old.

Zirkzee has been a huge disappointment during his time at United and he has netted just five league goals from almost 60 appearances.

He is no longer an assured starter for United and could be prepared to pursue a new club where he has guaranteed minutes in the XI.
