Man Utd target suffers ankle injury in training

Manchester United target Carlos Baleba has picked up an ankle injury in training with Brighton & Hove Albion, according to The Athletic.
The Cameroon international has been a long-term target for the Red Devils and it was recently reported that United are still interested in him.
However, that speculation will be put to bed after the former Lille man sustained an ankle injury that will sideline him for several weeks.
He is expected to miss the start of the Premier League campaign with the Seagulls and could be sidelined for at least one more from there.
The news is a setback for Michael Carrick's side, who had earmarked him as a possible option for the third midfield acquisition this summer.
United have so far made just two high-profile signings in Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, but more activity could be expected soon.
A new striker and a left-back could be targeted. Newcastle United's Lewis Hall remains the top target to reinforce the left-back department.
